Go Inside Andy Cohen's Favorite Parties Ever — Including the One Where NeNe Leakes Made a Cameo
The #WWHL host gave us an exclusive scoop on the wildest bashes he's ever attended.
If we were to throw a party, we'd definitely want to include Andy Cohen on the guest list. Especially given the fact that he's been likened to Beyoncé when he's out on the town with his pals. So, it comes as no surprise that everyone from Madonna to his BFF, Sarah Jessica Parker, always make sure he's in the house when they throw a bash. "I've been to too many great parties to say the best party I've ever went to, but I'll give you a few," he told Bravo After Hours, before dishing about some of his favorite fetes.
"Madonna has a party after the Oscars every year, and everybody is there and they are s***faced," he said. "And it's like you're on the dance floor with Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger and Madonna and Cameron Diaz and everybody. It's sick. It's amazing."
The Watch What Happens Live host never misses the chance to RSVP to the Met Gala, which he usually attends with SJP. "The Met Ball is always really amazing, and I write about the in the book every year because it's so shocking," he said. "The people that are there and they're all dressed so exquisitely that you're stepping on women's trains every night."
Speaking of SJP, when she and her pals gathered to toast her on her big 5-0, the event got a special last-minute cameo from a certain The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal. "I write about in my new book [Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries], Sarah Jessica Parker's 50th birthday party," he said. "And crazily late at night the doorman of the Carlyle said, 'Oh, by the way, your friend NeNe Leakes just showed up... She came and Sarah Jessica's son was so excited to meet NeNe Leakes. It was like two in the morning and I was like, 'This is when it gets crazy; now NeNe Leakes is at Sarah Jessica's 50th birthday party.'"
Check out Episode one of Bravo After Hours. We promise, it's worth watching.
