Andy Cohen Addresses Rumors of a New Real Housewives Franchise
The WWHL host set the record straight amid rumors connected to BravoCon 2023.
Could a new Real Housewives franchise — more specifically, The Real Housewives of Las Vegas — be in the cards? Based on what Andy Cohen had to say, we’d recommend hedging your bets.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host addressed the matter during his SiriusXM Radio Andy broadcast on April 13 after speculative online chatter — sparked by the announcement that BravoCon 2023 is set to be held in Las Vegas— started to pick up.
“People are really excited about BravoCon in Vegas. [I’m] getting so many questions about it,” Andy began. “And I just want to nip something in the bud right now, because there is a rumor that is building online that I need to address so that we can move on. I know how this is gonna go, it’s going to blossom and fester and snowball.”
He continued, “There is a train of thought that we will be announcing at BravoCon in Vegas The Real Housewives of Las Vegas, and I am here to tell you we are not.”
Doubling down, Andy added, “There is no Housewives of Vegas. We are not announcing a Housewives of Vegas.”
So, as he joked, “just stand down” — at least when it comes to The Real Housewives of Las Vegas rumors, not BravoCon 2023 itself. That warrants plenty of excitement, especially since there’s so much to look forward to this year.
For starters, BravoCon is headed to Sin City for the first time ever. Taking place from November 3 to November 5, the ultimate fan event will bring Bravoholics and Bravolebrities together from around the world for a weekend of epic events, unfiltered moments, jaw-dropping revelations, and lifelong connections.
As Andy put it, “What happens at BravoCon, stays at BravoCon.”
Referencing Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay’s iconic tattoo, he added, “It really is all happening.”
