Stassi & Beau's New House "Isn't Livable," So They're Moving in with Katie & Tom
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the four Vanderpump Rules besties are "quarantined" together in Tom and Katie's new home.
Amid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz have some unexpected new roommates. The Vanderpump Rules couple, who moved in to a stunning new abode in the summer of 2019, are taking in castmates Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark, as their own new house is currently in the midst of a major renovation.
Stassi and Beau were originally scheduled to be on the road for her Straight Up With Stassi tour throughout the remodel of their home, but due to the health crisis, multiple show dates were postponed and the couple headed home — to Katie and Tom's.
"We have to go stay at Katie and Tom's because our house isn't livable yet," she said in an Instagram Story while en route to the airport. "Shout out to Katie and Tom, we're gonna be quarantined together."
Stassi shared several videos of the under-construction house, letting the clips speak for themselves: "Thisssss is why we have to do our quarantine at Katie and Tom's house."
As Stassi's Instagram followers are well aware, turning the $1.7 million Hollywood Hills house into their dream home has been a massive project, to say the least. "We wanted an older home and we wanted to make it our own,” she recently explained to BravoTV.com, noting that they are “redoing bathrooms, redoing a deck, redoing the floors, redoing the railing, turning one of the rooms into my closet, [and] knocking down a wall so that it can be a big office."
While the renovations continued on, Stassi and Beau arrived at Chateau Schwartz, and the Bubbas pulled out all the stops for their houseguests. On the kitchen counter, Katie and Tom left a sweet note that read: "Sorry your tour got postponed!" which Stassi showed off as the group chatted about hand sanitizer.
Making their way to their new temporary bedroom, Stassi excitedly showed her followers that "Katie lit my favorite candle," showing the burning TOCCA candle. In a reference to The Real Housewives of New York City cast member Dorinda Medley's iconic line, Stassi exclaimed of Katie: "She made it nice!"
A slightly less zen accessory in the couple's new bedroom is a painting resembling cast member Tom Sandoval sitting on the floor. Stassi paused at the piece of art in the video, joking, "Sandoval watching over us as we sleep."
