Stassi Schroeder's Outfit Is Proof That She's in "Dark Times"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member once strictly drew the line at this trend, but it looks like she's changing her ways.
Stassi Schroeder is always one to keep it real on social media, but the Vanderpump Rules cast member has been particularly open about the things she’s been doing lately that feels a bit out of character throughout self-quarantine. For example, you may find it tough to believe that she lasted an impressive stretch of time without having a full-length mirror for #OOTD shots, and even Stassi herself was impressed at how “free” she felt when she removed her hair extensions. Now, she’s revealing yet another change she has recently made that is proof that things are a little different these days.
In an Instagram Story, Stassi shared a photo of the outfit she was wearing that indicated “dark times.”
“I ordered overalls,” she wrote. To the untrained eye, this outfit wouldn’t appear to be too “dark.” She paired the denim number with a simple white button-down shirt, gold hoop earrings, and two dainty layered necklaces.
But if you take a moment to remember the time Stassi created her own holiday, National #OOTD Day, you’ll understand how significant it is for her to be wearing overalls. While Stassi was organizing her #OOTD Day event, her now-fiancé, Beau Clark, emerged dressed in a pair of overalls that she completely disapproved of.
“Can you find something that you’re just as comfortable in that’s not... that?” Stassi asked Beau in the video, you can watch below. She then went on to explain why his look was such a no-go. “National #OOTD Day is all about being yourself, expressing your individuality and your unique style. But like, I have to draw the line somewhere, and that line is at overalls.”
