We Just Got a BIG Design Update on Schwartz & Sandy's
Tom Schwartz & Tom Sandoval's in-progress bar has a bold and beautiful new look.
Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz have been hard at work on their new bar, Schwartz & Sandy's, and recently, the Vanderpump Rules business partners shared an exciting update on their latest venture.
On March 22, Schwartz showed "wallpaper day" at the in-progress bar. As seen in his Instagram Story photos, he and Sandoval planned to cover the bright white walls with beautiful, bold designs featuring florals, animals, and other stunning details. Eight days later, Schwartz returned to Instagram to show that at least one of the walls was complete with the eye-catching wallpaper he had previously shared.
In Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval explained his big ideas for the design of the new space. "Every time I walk in here, it's such an optical illusion," he said, before adding in an interview: "I want colors, I want light drama on corners, I want seclusion, but also, you know, a community- interactive event." Two months later, Schwartz shared on the show's reunion: "It's a funky, vibrant, cozy dive lounge nestled under the Hollywood Hills in one of my favorite parts of Hollywood, Franklin Village."
As the business partners and best friends explained at the reunion, they are planning to open Schwartz & Sandy's in spring of 2022. "We are working on the project every single day. We love it," Sandoval said in a video, before Schwartz quipped, "It's intense, though, and I kinda need a hug, but we love it."
