Scheana Shay's Latest Tattoo Celebrates One of Her Most Iconic Career Moments
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared a look at some new ink that has special significance.
At the end of the summer, Scheana Shay took to her Instagram Stories to share some news: she was getting some new ink.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member, who already has a slew of tattoos on different places on her body (more on that later), revealed she was getting an outline of an apple on her right forearm from Los Angeles tattoo artist Sweat Pea ahead of a concert with the 27s. The move was ostensibly linked to the new song called “Apples" with the 27s, aka Kevin Franklin and Landis Daniel.
More recently, Scheana took on another new tattoo, again referencing a song — one with a special place in our Bravo hearts.
Scheana Shay's "Good as Gold" tattoo
On September 21, Scheana took to her Instagram page to strike a pose in a glamorous selfie. "Swipe for my new tattoo," she cheekily captioned the post.
In the next snapshot, Scheana turned her back slightly to the camera, showing off a stamp of small black letters on the back of her left arm saying, "good as gold" in all lowercase characters.
The tattoo was of course a reference to her 2013 dance pop song "Good as Gold" which Scheana performed on Season 2, Episode 9 of Vanderpump Rules and that's gone down in Bravo history as a memorable track (revisit her BravoCon 2022 performance of the song in the video above).

Scheana also has another tattoo that's relevant to Bravo lore: the "It's All Happening" ink on her forearm.
Back in 2015, Scheana spoke with BravoTV.com about the phrase's meaning in her life. "To begin, Almost Famous is my favorite movie of all time ever! Penny Lane is my spirit animal (and also the name of my cat)," she shared at the time. "In the movie, 'It's All Happening' is said numerous times. I got this tattoo [...] when I felt like everything in my life was all happening. It's my favorite tattoo out of the many that I have!"
Scheana has gotten inked up numerous times since then (we have the breakdown here of the Vanderpump Rules cast's tattoos). In addition to her most recent "Good as Gold" and apple-shaped tatt, Scheana also inked "Summer," aka her daughter's name, on her wrist in July.
For the occasion, Scheana grabbed a snapshot with Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright who also got inked up in honor of their children.
