Scheana Shay Shows Off a New Tattoo With a Special Meaning (PHOTO)
The Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed some fresh ink ahead of a recent concert.
Scheana Shay has a lot of ink, including her famous "It's All Happening" tattoo which has basically become an iconic moment in Vanderpump Rules history.
Back in 2015, Scheana spoke with BravoTV.com about the phrase's meaning in her life. "To begin, Almost Famous is my favorite movie of all time ever! Penny Lane is my spirit animal (and also the name of my cat)," she shared at the time. "In the movie, 'It's All Happening' is said numerous times. I got this tattoo [...] when I felt like everything in my life was all happening. It's my favorite tattoo out of the many that I have!"
Scheana has gotten inked up numerous times since then (we have the breakdown here of the Vanderpump Rules cast's tattoos). One such instance took place recently as Scheana prepared for a very special show.
Scheana Shay gets an apple tattoo on her forearm
On August 28, Scheana took to her Instagram Stories showing herself getting some new ink from Los Angeles tattoo artist Sweat Pea ahead of a concert with the 27s. In the video, Scheana sits as the artist carefully inks an outline of an apple on her right forearm, right above the meaningful poppy flower tattoo she got in 2020.
As for the tattoo's significance, Scheana just dropped a brand-new song called “Apples" with the 27s, aka Kevin Franklin and Landis Daniel, and seemingly took on the apple ink to celebrate the occasion.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the track Scheana said, “I haven’t used music as an outlet to express my feelings in a really long time, so getting back into the studio and making this song with The 27s has been freeing and cathartic.”
Scheana also gave a shout-out to her and her husband Brock Davies’ daughter, Summer Moon, adding that the song’s hook “is a great way to teach your toddler how to spell APPLES.”

The apple tattoo isn't the only body art Scehana has taken on this summer. In July, the "Good as Gold" singer shared how she and Lala Kent both got spur-of-the-moment tats at a pal's party courtesy of tattoo artist Greg Orduno.
“Tattoos at the party! Why not?” Scheana exclaimed in a video with the tattoo artist. The ladies then put their fresh ink on display in a photo, showing that Scheana got her daughter's name, Summer, on her inner arm, while Lala celebrated her daughter Ocean with an "O" on the top of her hand.
Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright also got a tattoo for her son, Cruz, whom she shares with Jax Taylor.
