Katie Maloney Shares Her Thoughts on Tom Schwartz’s New Apartment
After the former Vanderpump Rules couple moved out of their house, Katie told Tom how she feels about his new digs.
On the August 19 episode of Katie Maloney’s Dear Media podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, Tom Schwartz shared that although he is “super grateful” for his new apartment, there are some aspects he doesn’t exactly love. “Living in a small, little apartment that you have to pay $3,500 a month for? It’s hard not to be salty,” he admitted. “It’s smaller than my apartment in college.” While Katie understood his point, she had a different perspective on Tom’s current home.
“I think your apartment is beautiful,” she said. “You just gotta, like, make it your own.” Additionally, she pointed out, “You don’t have to stay there forever.”
Shortly after Katie and Tom moved out of their former house (see it in the video above), Katie opened up on the June 10 episode of her podcast about how she was getting settled in her new apartment. “I’m really excited to just kind of make my own little space, my own little sanctuary,” she said at the time. “I’ve been having fun sort of planning what I want it to look like, what I want the vibes to be. I’ve, like, bought some new furniture. I’m doing little DIY projects. It’s coming together.”
“I’m feeling already just a little bit at home, so that feels really nice,” she continued. “I’m excited to get decorating and feel like this is like my new little space and make it my own and have, you know, some new memories here.”
