Ariana Madix Shares New Details on the “Revenge Dress” She Wore to the Season 10 Reunion
The Vanderpump Rules cast member divulged new information regarding her buzzed-about abs-baring red dress.
On May 18, Ariana Madix stopped by TODAY with Hoda & Jenna to reflect on that history-making Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale episode as well as tease a “bloodbath” of a reunion. Additionally, the blonde beauty was sure to divulge the details of her head-turning Season 10 reunion dress, which admittedly made our jaws drop upon its reveal. Considering the incredible aspects of the outfit (which is actually a cropped jacket and matching pencil skirt by Mônot), we were all ears for the thought process behind the look.
“My revenge dress that I wore on the reunion … I had options that I was working with my friend Emily Men, who is an incredible stylist, and then when all of this happened, it was like, ‘Nope, scrap all of those. We’re going back to the drawing board. We need something absolutely incredible,’” Ariana shared. “And she found that dress, and she’s great at what she does.”
Not only did the skin-baring look grab our attention, but Ariana’s other aesthetic details — including her newly lightened platinum-blonde locks, long red nails, and fingers covered in rings — were also incredibly noteworthy.
OK, but can we also talk about Ariana’s style deets for the TODAY interview? For the sit-down, the sandwich shop co-founder was more covered up, but her sophisticated style still managed to show a sliver of skin .
Ariana paired a white cropped button-down shirt ($590) with high-waisted beige trousers ($590), both by Jacquemus. She wore her blonde tresses pulled back into a ponytail with lightly tousled waves and face-framing pieces, and added silver hoop earrings for a sleek touch.
Ariana paired her California-girl-in-the-Big-Apple style with some stunning accessories as well, including an ivory Le Grand Chiquito bag ($860), also from Jacquemus, and matching color sky-high platform pumps.
The night before her TODAY interview, Ariana stopped by the WWHL Clubhouse to serve another sexy style courtesy of Emily Men: an eye-popping black Web Lace Gown by Alessandra Rich ($2,590).
For the May 17 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which aired right after the Vanderpump Rules finale, Ariana again explained the thought process behind her stunning style for the evening, which she paired with black strappy heels and a slightly messy topknot.
“What did you say your look was tonight?” host Andy Cohen asked Ariana during the episode.
“Uh… slutty funeral!” she quipped, showing off the dress, which consisted of a black corset bodice, lace sleeves with one side off-the-shoulder, and a flattering asymmetrical lace train that was giving plenty of leg.
