So, Um, What Exactly Is the "Butt Facial" Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright Got?

If you saw this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, you already know that facials are no longer just for your face. "Booty Smoothie” veteran Lala Kent brought Brittany Cartwright along to get their bottoms pampered together and casually chatted while their cheeks were exfoliated, steamed, and creamed. The whole experience gave viewers the behind the scenes scoop (literally) on the butt facial process, but if you missed the episode, we can fill you in on one of Lala's “most favorite things!”

First off, why a facial on the bum? The Give Them Lala beauty founder explained that “the female booty goes through a lot” from everyday activities, such as sitting on toilet seats and from certain sex positions. The “Booty Smoothie” is a way to clean things up. According to Tina K, where they got the treatment done, it helps prevent ingrown hairs, reduces the appearance of impurities and also softens the skin. The treatment is about 35 minutes and involves a five step process to keep your skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom!

Step 1: Prep- cleans the skin to clear away impurities.

Step 2: Treat- uses an exfoliant clay cleanser and their signature diamond pad to smooth and resurface the skin, which removes 10-15 layers of unwanted buildup. It also scrubs away bumps.

Step 3: Extract- steams the area with tea tree oil to kill bacteria and open pores for extractions of ingrown hairs.

Step 4: Restore- uses a healing collagen mask to calm any irritation and leaves the skin toned and fresh.

Step 5: Purify- uses an antibacterial solution to kill bacteria and close pores.
