Watch Jax Taylor Get Botox for an Emotional Pick-Me-Up
It's been a trying time for the SURver, and we're psyched to see him smile.
Jax Taylor has never been shy about it: The SURver takes a vested interest in his own appearance, and is willing to go under knife and needle to make sure that everything looks just so. With his signature sense of humor intact, Jax has spilled the tea on everything from nose jobs to ab sculpting, and there is no shame is his game. (And, why should there be? He looks amazing!)
Like much of the SUR crew, the Vanderpump Rules bartender is also an unabashed fan of Botox. So, it's not surprising that when he went for his latest round of injections, Jax shared a video that let fans in on the experience.
On January 30, he posted a short clip that showed himself taking needle pricks like a pro in the office of doctor Payman Danielpour. "Love visiting these guys," Jax wrote, adding: "they always make me smile."
OK, so Jax's facial expression in the video was deadpan — hence the laughing emoji — but one needs to stay very still while getting Botox!
When a fan noticed the tweet and asked Jax why he is getting Botox now, at just 38 years old, the SURver gave an honest answer that nodded to the tremendously difficult situation he's in. In late December, Jax lost his father Ronald Cauchi to cancer.
