Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons Bring the Heat in Head-Turning Emmys Looks
The Bravo's Top Chef alum and judge gave us shimmer, satin, and lots of glamour on television's biggest night.
When it's time to hit the red carpet, we can count on Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons to deliver on the fashion front.
Considering Padma blew us away in April 2023 for the Time 100 Gala in a periwinkle Marchesa ball gown and how Gail has also served up some classically glamorous styles at various events, we weren't exactly surprised the ladies slayed for the 2024 Emmy Awards on January 15.

Padma Lakshmi's 2024 Emmys dress
When Padma hit the carpet for the awards ceremony, she turned heads in a jaw-dropping satin chartreuse gown she wore for the occasion. The New York City mom again turned to Marchesa via stylist Jason Rembert for the custom gown that featured a plunging V-neck and a Grecian-style silhouette with chain braided details that wove through the bodice.
Another show-stopping element of Padma's look? Her gorgeous glam, courtesy of William Scott, who incorporated plum and peach colors on Padma's lids and finished with a matte pink lip that provided the perfect pop to her yellow-green gown.
Padma also thanked hairstylist Danilo Dixon for her sexy tousled waves and credited manicurist Tracy Clemons for her pearl-colored nails (a classic color called "Chiffon-d of You" from OPI).
"A chartreuse dream," Padma captioned an Instagram video that showed how she got ready for the occasion. The edited clip also gave us a view of the stylish gold metallic heels she wore with the dress.
Gail Simmons' 2024 Emmys dress
Gail, for her part, was just as stunning in a dazzling gold sequin gown from Balmain, and '70s-style gold platform strappy heels, courtesy of stylist Charlotte Rose Coleman. The sexy sheath featured a "starburst"-like pattern all over and a square neckline, also adding a thigh-high slit for some added spice.
Gail's subtle, yet beautiful, glam came courtesy of Tara Pagliara while her old Hollywood glamour curls were done by Holly Mills.
Gail also paired her art deco-style column dress with Kimberly McDonald earrings, rings by Beck Jewels, and carried a coordinated black-and-gold cluth from Emm Kou.
"Channeling [Emmys] gold," Gail captioned a series of Instagram photos that showed off the details of her incredible look. "So much pride and love tonight for my [Top Chef] fam," she concluded the post, celebrating the show's several nominations that night.
