Gail Simmons Shares a Look Inside Her “Date Night in Rome” with Husband Jeremy
Of course the Bravo’s Top Chef judge’s romantic evening with her husband included a mouthwatering meal.
As Gail Simmons enjoys a family vacation in Italy, she recently shared a peek at a special dinner with her husband, Jeremy. “Date night in Rome with spaghetti alla bottarga,” Gail captioned an August 7 Instagram photo that showed the mouthwatering pasta dish Gail was enjoying with a glass of wine. To conclude the post, she quipped, “Husband was also present.”
Gail’s appreciation for this specific dish doesn’t come as a surprise. In the video above, Gail declares on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her last meal ever “would need to be pasta of some sort” and adds it would be “something with, like, caviar and sea urchin and a lot of butter and some chili in there.” As for who would cook this hypothetical meal, Gail quickly declares, “Tom Colicchio.”
In addition to the date-night dinner at Trattoria al Moro, Gail and her family have been enjoying many other incredible meals throughout their trip. On August 6, Gail shared a photo of her daughter eating a “traditional breakfast in bed”: pizza, of course. One day prior, she posted snapshots from the vacation that included shakerato, “fig milk, peach, and cocomelon gelato,” a close-up of the “freshest bruschetta,” and “carciofi alla romana, with a spritz.”
