Meredith Marks Responds to Jen Shah's Comments About Brooks' Fashion Line
The RHOSLC son made his Park City Fashion Week debut this season.
Meredith Marks’ son, Brooks Marks, made his Park City Fashion Week debut on this season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in an event the 21-year-old described as a “career-changing opportunity.” Meredith has gushed about Brooks’ success this season, and on the January 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the proud mom defended her son’s work.
In response to a viewer who asked for her thoughts on Jen Shah’s comments about Brooks’ tracksuit collection, Meredith said, “Jen has made not passive-aggressive, but aggressive-aggressive digs on Brooks all over social media and it’s not nice. I wouldn’t talk about anyone else’s children."
Meredith then followed up on her response to the question with a tweet, writing, “He has not called himself a designer. He is a student who ambitiously tried to start a small business with money that he saved on his own from working. Should be commended NOT criticized.”
On the December 23 episode of RHOSLC, which featured Brooks’ fashion show, Jen attended the event and discussed the tracksuit in a confessional interview. “I’ve been rockin’ that tracksuit for months. I mean, does one tracksuit make a collection? I don’t know. But you know what? I’m still gonna rock it. Hopefully he makes a second one soon and then I can wear that one.”
