Wendy Osefo Dazzled in a Crystal-Studded Gown at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty’s black satin dress with a green sparkling bodice took our breath away.
Over the weekend, a few Bravolebrities stepped out in style for the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, aka the annual star-studded event in which celebrities and media figures mingle with top government officials. In addition to Vanderpump Rules’ Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, and Lala Kent stunning in jaw-dropping looks, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo also came to slay.
For the dinner, the college professor was styled by Shenell Welch in dark, elegant glamour with a black satin gown by Walone Fashion Group ($1,305) that featured a dazzling heart-shaped green crystal bodice. She accessorized the style with black opera gloves and sparkling earrings and a ring by The Rich DNA. She rocked gorgeous glam by Arica, and wore her hair in long, luscious curls styled by Dallas Dyvitoi.
The event, which Wendy hilariously referred to as “Nerd Prom” in a hashtag on the Instagram snap of her look, was also attended by Rosario Dawson, Gayle King, Bravo lovers Jerry O’Connell and Julia Fox, and more.
Wendy was sure to give us a beloved Bravo crossover in an Instagram Story snap alongside Lisa and Ariana, with all three women looking beautiful in their dresses.
Wendy also attended another event in D.C. over the weekend, rocking a head-turning strapless black gown embellished with beads and feathers. To match the Old Hollywood vibes of her dress, Wendy wore chic curls with a deep side part. Makeup artist Marcus Miller defined her eyes with smoky black glamour and completed her glam with a gorgeous red lip.
Joining Wendy for the weekend was her husband, Eddie Osefo, who was incredibly dapper for the occasion in a blue-and-black-printed tuxedo jacket, white button-down, and black bow tie. Black slacks and black patent-leather brogues completed his outfit.
Wendy and Eddie are pretty keen on giving us some jaw-dropping evening looks. Back in March, the couple attended a friend’s wedding in serious style, with Wendy wearing a strapless gold sheath from Elarose Sweet Weddings. The gown was covered in sparkly silver beaded embellishments, and similar to her reunion dress, it had a sculptural ribbon-like piece on the left side. Wendy’s hip-hugging frock also featured a fishtail train, ideal for making a head-turning entrance.
Eddie joined his wife in a smart black suit with gold accents and black patent-leather loafers.
In addition to sharing their outfits on her main Instagram page, Wendy also documented some of their experience in her Instagram Stories, sharing sweet photos of herself and Eddie enjoying a vintage 2012 bottle of Dom Pérignon as well as a view of the wedding reception’s gorgeous decor.
