Ladies and gentlemen… Mia Thornton’s new hairstyle! In a series of recent Instagram snaps, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member showed off a dramatic new beauty look. Her reinvented hairstyle has made such a splash that it seems to have its own personality. So it’s only fitting that the marketing exec introduced her coif as “HER” when she debuted it on the ’Gram.
Mia Thornton’s Brand-New Bangs
Now, it’s nothing new for the Potomac mama to turn heads with a stunning hairstyle. (No pun intended!) For her appearance on the RHOP Season 7 reunion, Mia paired her sparkling blue dress with a statement coif that was long, straight, and sleek. Her dark, shiny locks were parted in the middle, and the back of her hair had a little bouffant lift for some retro flair. (Relive the glamorous look in the clip above.)
Before that, in the most recent season of RHOP, Mia brought her A game in terms of salon-worthy style. For example, at Candiace Dillard Bassett’s music video premiere party, as shown on the Season 7 finale, Mia rocked a long, dark ponytail with her sheer, pearl-encrusted dress.
And even for casual cocktails by the beach during the group trip to Mexico, she piled on the glamour. Mia wore her hair in an elegant high bun to sip mimosas at a seaside café with Gizelle Bryant.
The aforementioned looks had glamour and elegance for days, but Mia has not been seen sporting a full set of bangs… until now!
In a July 9 Instagram post, the entrepreneur was wearing her hair half back and letting dark, lush curls spill down her shoulders. The dramatic new hairstyle had a thick set of face-framing fringe, and Mia knew just how to show it off.

After introducing “HER” in her caption, the fashion maven struck some poses to show “HER” from several angles. She wore a sleeveless black-and-white dress by J Lux Label and a soft but sexy makeup look by Loreal Watts. As for Mia’s new coif, the refreshed locks were courtesy of Moore hair salon.
Mia modeled expertly, first standing with her hands on her hips and looking directly into the camera with a sultry gaze that made it hard to miss her wispy lashes and pinkish-nude lips.
