Karen Huger Had the Best Mother’s Day/Birthday Celebration: “So Blessed”
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom was treated to lavish presents and exquisite food for the doubly special day.
Karen Huger goes all out for family events — she did have a Grande Dame Reunion, after all. So when Mother’s Day rolled around this year, just days after her birthday, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member had a celebration to remember.
Karen took to Instagram on May 8 to share a look at the special day, which she spent with her daughter, Rayvin Huger. In the clip, Karen could be seen surrounded by boxes of presents (some from designer brands like Fendi and Telfar) as well as a bouquet of yellow and white roses and two balloons: one for Mother’s Day and one for Karen’s birthday. Karen was all smiles as she beamed next to a beautiful cake topped with fruit, candles, and a display that read “happy birthday.”
The day continued with a delicious lunch at Fiola Mare, an Italian seafood restaurant in Washington, D.C. Karen enjoyed a mimosa accompanied by a mouthwatering meal that included salad, bread, fish, pasta, and not one but two decadent desserts.
Of course, Karen and Rayvin marked the occasion in style. The Grande Dame wore a chic pink two-piece set that included a long-sleeve top with feather trim and cropped pants. She paired her outfit with black woven sandals and a Chanel crossbody bag. Rayvin was just as stylish as her mother, donning a flouncy off-the-shoulder black-and-white dress and cream heels.
“So blessed and grateful! [Happy Mother’s Day],” Karen captioned her video. “Sprinkled with a bit of BDAY Celebration!!!”
