Candiace Dillard Bassett Gives Major “Barbie” Vibes in a Pink Velvet Top & Sky-High Heels
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member kicked off a “magical week” on the West Coast in an adorable party look.
Candiace Dillard Bassett is living her best life on the West Coast, and she’s got the chicest looks to prove it.
“[Tom Ford] Barbie showed up to the [Amazon Music] party during [the Recording Academy’s Grammys] week!!” The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member captioned a February 9 Instagram video showing her various escapades at the event that “[kicked] off an incredibly magical week.”
Candiace’s stylish, sexy outfit was, as she declared in her caption, definitely giving “Tom Ford Barbie.” Styled by Brian Adrian, the “Drive Back” singer rocked a pink velvet turtleneck top tucked into black Lycra “logoed” leggings by Tom Ford ($360). She completed the look with pink Giuseppe Zanotti Tarifa platform heels ($995), long beige nails, dark round sunglasses, and sleek, straight ombré locks.
Candiace went on to gush about meeting the legendary songwriting/record-producing team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and going to pop singer Janelle Monae’s album listening party, which can all be seen in the above video.
“Whew. Day 1 was wild,” she concluded the caption.
Though the R&B singer will eventually have to drive back to the East Coast (or, er, fly back, most likely), she’s been having quite the time during “Grammys week,” wearing a slew of fabulous looks along the way.
While attending the Recording Academy Honors presented by the Black Music Collective on February 2, Candiace dazzled on the black carpet in a sparkling, sequin-embellished black column dress with skinny spaghetti straps by Alice + Olivia ($1,495). The “Insecure” songstress paired the stunning style with strappy black heels and a low chignon hairstyle with long, curled pieces in the front, topping off the look with glamorous red lipstick.
“We had a tiiiiiiiime last night!” Candiace captioned a February 3 Instagram video that detailed her experience at the event, also noting that the affair “[celebrated] 50 years of hip hop with a few legends” and that she attended a Warner Music party and later ended up at Soho House.
