Candiace Dillard Bassett threw it all the way back with a recent Instagram post. The Real Housewives of Potomac songstress shared a series of high school-era photos, including one shot in her colorful cheerleading uniform — and now, we are longing for a time when "everything was simple and charmed."
On January 25, Candiace posted two adorable shots in which she smiled bright for the camera during high school. In the first pic, Candiace rocked a blue, yellow, and white cheerleading uniform with her chestnut blowout styled with a subtle bump under — ah, those were the days.
"Ahhhhhh!!!!! @esq_ibi and Cassie taking me down #memorylane with these," she exclaimed in her caption. "That’s @infomercial24 in the back wrapping (or unwrapping?) her hair. I remember this outfit she has on 😂."
Oh, to be young(er) again. "Was this like senior night?? My hair was always up when I cheered at games so I seem to remember this being a special occasion, probably senior night. Wow how time flies!" she added with her infectious enthusiasm.
In the second shot, Candiace enjoyed a low-key lunch with a pink scarf, red Gatorade, and trendy eyebrows. "The second picture I think it was just me chilling in the cafeteria," she explained, adding the hashtag team thin eyebrows. "I would go back to high school in a heartbeat," she mused. "Some of the BEST memories. Everything was simple and charmed ❤️"
