This is not a drill: Robyn Dixon and her former husband Juan Dixon are officially engaged and getting remarried. The Daily Dish has confirmed that the former pro basketball player popped the big question at a holiday party on December 13 and now we have all the details about Robyn's stunning non-traditional ring.
"Shocked and excited is an understatement to describe my reaction to Juan’s proposal! I could barely breathe," The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty confessed to The Daily Dish, and we would be breathless, too, if we were on the receiving end of this unique glittering bauble.
Robyn said yes to a custom Nicole Rose Jewelry Diamond Halo Ring with Pink Morganite Center. Nicole Kopelman, of Nicole Rose Jewelry, is the fabulous jewelry designer behind the bling worn by several Bravolebs like Cameran Eubanks, Kyle Richards, and Kate Chastain. The New York City-based jeweler is known for her sophisticated pieces that bring much-needed glamour to everyday life.
Kopelman tells BravoTV.com exclusively that Juan was very involved in the design process for the piece that featured a five carat emerald cut morganite center stone set in 18K white gold: "He picked the design himself, and we both decided on a morganite center stone since she likes pink."
The flirty blush stone is surrounded by a double halo of 1.2 carats of diamonds.
And it sounds like their efforts paid off for the jaw-dropping ring, according to Robyn. "Juan gave the sweetest speech and set the whole room into an uproar when he got down on one knee! It was truly a special night and is definitely much sweeter the second time around. Oh, and he knows me well and got my ring just right!"
