Candiace Dillard Wore a Metallica Shirt on WWHL — But Can She Name Any Songs?
The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty wore a band t-shirt to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and viewers wanted answers.
Candiace Dillard has never been one to shy away from bold fashion choices. Whether she's donning one of the most extra outfits in Housewives history or debuting a brand new hair hue, The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty is not afraid to take chances. But one thing that doesn't immediately come to mind when one thinks of Candiace's style is... Metallica.
On her most recent appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, Candiace graced the clubhouse wearing a Metallica band t-shirt. But this wasn't just your average band merch. No, Candiace sported a deconstructed Metallica "And Justice For All" t-shirt with red lace trim and silver metal beadwork along the exaggerated sleeves. She accessorized the edgy ensemble with gold, knee-high boots and massive gold hoop earrings. It was a look and she completely pulled it off.
But when one caller tested Candiace to see if she was even familiar with the band (Don't come for our Candiace), comedy ensued. After a caller introduced herself, she politely asked "Um, can you please name three Metallica songs?" Naturally, the whole clubhouse erupted in laughter — Andy included — because chances are that this was more of a fashion choice than a musical one.
"What?!" Candiace responded. But luckily The Real Housewives of Dallas' Leeanne Locken was there to help clear things up a bit. "It's the name of the band on your shirt," she explained.
"Um, so I can't do that," Candiace admitted. But she did offer an even better compromise. "If you give me the tune to the song, I could sing it to you if I knew the tune."
Listen, Candiace is not here to be put in some sartorial box. She is here to bring all the girly, sweet, edgy, rocker, glam looks to the masses — and we're here for it all.
