Meghan King Edmonds' Daughter Aspen Is Too Adorable Making Post-Meltdown Cookies
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum's 3-year-old "had a meltdown" over a birthday cake, but Mom saved the day.
While some of us are mourning the end of Thanksgiving break, Aspen Edmonds is distraught by the loss of her birthday cake. In late November, Meghan King Edmonds' little girl turned 3 with a gorgeous, Frozen-themed confection. And when the toddler found out it was gone, she didn't take the news so well. Thank goodness her mama had a sweet backup plan in place.
In her December 2 Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared videos of her daughter making cookies from the confines of her high chair. As Meghan brought her flour, butter, vanilla, and eggs, the 3-year old whipped up a batch of festive treats.
Why the celebratory snacks? As Meghan explained in her caption, "We are making 'birthday cookies' bc she had a meltdown when I told her the cake is gone. I felt horrible."
It looks like the fun baking activity quickly boosted Aspen's spirits, though: The little one was feeling so festive, she dumped an entire jar of sprinkles into her batter. And why not? It's the holidays — and, in Aspen's mind, it's still her birthday. So, let there be sprinkles!
