Briana and Ryan Culberson Expose Keto Instagram Scam Using Their Likeness: "It's a Lie"
The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter and son-in-law became targets for fraud as a result of their high-profile success on Keto.
Over about a year dedicated to the effort, Briana and Ryan Culberson have lost a combined 107 pounds on the Keto diet. During that time, Ryan has regularly used Instagram as a way to share the couple's transformation on their journey, and also discuss Keto-related topics, like easy family-friendly Keto recipe ideas, plus inspiration and encouragement.
Now, it seems The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter and son-in-law have become targets as a result of Ryan's high-profile Keto-related Instagram sharing.
Ryan took to his Instagram Stories to share screengrabs from a site that uses the couple's likeness as shared on Instagram, and claims their affiliation with a brand of Keto products — but it's false, he said. "This is 100% a scam if you don't see it here don't believe these people trying to make $ off you!"
He continued, "It's the second company today I've seen claiming we've used their products to be successful, that is a lie. If you don't see it here, it's not reliable."
He also added his oft-repeated view that it's consistency and dedication that are the most important part of any successful Keto diet plan." Keto does NOT require products to be successful!" he wrote.
"We've chosen to use one that helps keep us consistent and take the guess work out of a meal a day," he noted, referencing the KetoLogic brand which he often promotes on social media.
