Taylor Armstrong’s time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was filled with plenty of memorable moments, but there was one now-iconic scene involving cotton candy that viewers — and Taylor herself — still talk about to this day.

On Season 1 Episode 3 of RHOBH, Taylor unintentionally commanded everyone’s attention during a group dinner because of the very, erm, specific way she was eating cotton candy. As Lisa Vanderpump explained at the time, “Taylor was playing with that cotton candy. She was kind of licking it and chewing it and doing things that I’d only read about in books.”
It’s been more than a decade since the episode aired, but the image of Taylor eating that cotton candy has continued to be referenced, meme’d, and re-created by fans. With that in mind, it seems Taylor is a bit hesitant about eating certain foods on camera.
In the video above, which is a preview of Season 17 Episode 8 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Taylor heads to Balboa Island with daughter Kennedy, Kennedy’s friend Alexis, Jennifer Pedranti, and Jennifer’s son Greyson. Before the group even arrives at their destination, Taylor declares, “I wanna eat some corn dogs.”
While Taylor gets her wish, she is very intentional about her method for eating those corn dogs. When Shannon Storms Beador arrives, Taylor explains that she was picking the corn dog apart before eating it because of the attention she got from the cotton candy incident: “I decided after the cotton candy thing that me sticking a big corn dog in my mouth might not be the best approach.”
Although the moment has certainly stuck with her, Taylor is happy to embrace it. On the July 12, 2022, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the titular host asked, “Are you over replaying your cotton candy moment so many times?” In response, Taylor said with a smile, “I love that moment.”
Reiterating that sentiment in a May 22 Instagram post, she stated, “I’m your cotton candy girl… always.”
