Some Bravo fans first met Rick Leventhal as the silver fox who's soon to be Mr. Kelly Dodd. But the Fox News senior correspondent has had a long history with hairstyles, and in a recent Instagram post, he proved that his locks did not survive the '80s without some voluminous curls.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In the March 29 throwback snap, Kelly's fiancé shared a photo from another time and another era of beauty trends. "Taping drywall, 1980/81," wrote Rick. In the image, Rick has a head full of dark, lush curls. "This is the best," Kelly wrote in the comments. Elsewhere, followers compared the younger Rick to the curly-haired star of the 1970s sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter.

And though his coif has changed throughout the decades, Rick's recently proven that he's still quite handy around the house. The newsman recently moved into a new California home with The Real Housewives of Orange County mom, and got right down to work installing bathroom fixtures.

He's also stayed busy in his East Coast apartment when he's not out reporting in the field: Recently, he put together some Ikea cabinets. And should Rick need to tape down drywall anytime soon, it looks like he has some experience in this realm as well:
