Kara Bosworth Served "the Mother Load of Cheeseboards" at Her Baby Shower
Jeana Keough's pregnant daughter had a food display that's pure entertaining inspiration.
Kara Keough Bosworth is pregnant with baby number two. And though Jeana Keough's daughter is all ready to welcome another baby home (she even has cute nursery trappings all set up!), Kara wasn't on board for another baby shower.
In a recent Instagram post, the one-time Real Housewives of Orange County daughter explained that she'd begged her friends not to plan a shower ahead of her little one's arrival. "I don’t want gifts, I don’t want to write thank you cards, I don’t wanna put on a dress, or makeup, or say ‘Awwww, so cute’ 7,000 times," she explained. She was, however, totally game for a delicious cheese board.
Instead of a traditional pre-baby bash, Kara's friends all gathered to make sure that the soon-to-be mama of two had an evening with all of her favorite things, including her favorite snacks. And in addition to one very raunchy cake, the selection of eats included what Kara referred to as "the Mother Load of Cheeseboards."
As you can see if you click through the photos below, the board had crackers, cheeses, fruits, and sliced meats arranged in circular patterns. It was strewn with pretty pink roses, and overall was much more visually appealing than (shudder) that cake. Just think of it as a palate cleanser for the eyes.
