Go Behind the Scenes of Emily Simpson’s Daughter Annabelle’s First Modeling Job
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is feeling “really proud” after her daughter’s first professional photo shoot.
Annabelle Simpson’s modeling career is already taking off! After Emily Simpson revealed on Season 17 Episode 5 of The Real Housewives of Orange County that her daughter “signed with a modeling agency,” Annabelle, who was 9 years old at the time, had already booked an exciting job by Episode 6.
“This all happened very quickly,” Emily explained in an interview during the episode, which aired on July 12. “I’m excited for Annabelle to have her first modeling job, but I’m afraid I’m going to get to the point where Annabelle tells me to have my people call her people. So that’s what my concern is.”
The episode gave a behind-the-scenes look at Annabelle’s shoot with clothing company Jo+Jax, during which she donned multiple adorable outfits and worked with another young model.
“Annabelle is just very personable, and she’s very outgoing. Her career choices revolve around how she can be the center of attention,” Emily joked.
Throughout the shoot day, Emily was there encouraging her daughter, exclaiming, “Annabelle, you’re doing so good!” and taking photos on her phone. “As a mother, I feel like it is my job to make sure that my children are happy and they are able to pursue whatever their dreams are,” she explained in an interview. “It’s really rewarding, and it’s amazing.”
When it was time to wrap, Emily once again told Annabelle, “You did a great job… I’m really proud of you.” She went on to ask, “Do you want to do it again?” In response, Annabelle smiled and said, “Yeah.”
