Emily Simpson Explains Why Her Home Will Never Be Nice Again
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is giving up on maintaining a nice house — and for good reason.
This we’ve long known: Emily Simpson’s plate is perpetually full. The lawyer, event planner, and bathing-suit purveyor is also on a journey to be “fit and healthy”— all while running her very chaotic household! To recap, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom's got three children and two stepchildren, not to mention two cats and a dog! Yep, you read that right: Three jobs, five kids, three pets!
Always one to keep it real for her social media followers, Emily recently shared that try as she might, she’s abandoned the hope of maintaining a picture-perfect home. “I give up ever having a nice house again,” she captioned a photo of her 7-year-old daughter, Annabelle, who was playing with the family’s two kittens… on their dining room table!
In another photo, Emily shared a look inside her cozy master suite, where she snuggled her kids and her pets in her gigantic bed. “My zoo,” she wrote.
Emily is definitely selling herself short, though, because every time we’ve peeked into her home, it’s looked pristine! During a tour with BravoTV.com, Emily shared her pro-mom tip: Investing in chic decorative boxes that double as toy concealers.
“That’s a good way for you to have toys for your kids to play with, but your house still looks like it’s in order and looks decorated,” she said.
