Emily Simpson Reveals How She’s Staying in Shape During Her Self-Quarantine
The RHOC mom is committed to maintaining her new healthy lifestyle.
Emily Simpson is working hard to maintain her new healthy lifestyle during her self-quarantine. After opening up about her struggles to stay motivated amid this period of self-isolation, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is revealing exactly what she’s doing to stay in shape while hunkered down at home.
Since undergoing a painful hip replacement surgery in late 2019, Emily has undergone an amazing fitness journey. The mom of three regained her strength and lost 15 pounds, thanks to grueling early morning workouts and Rocky-inspired fitness sessions. Now, she’s doing her best to avoid a “quarantine funk” and stay committed to her healthy routine.
“I’ve been eating way too much but to counter balance that I have some 12 pound hand weights that I use consistently throughout the day to do shoulder presses, curls and squats,” Emily recently told HollywoodLife.
The RHOC mom also says she’s recruited her trainer for help, adding, “I also virtually work out with my trainer Paulina Stein three times a week via Instagram Live and the kids and I set up an obstacle course in the backyard for “PE” class.”
Emily has been sharing glimpses of her workout on Instagram. “It’s only 30 minutes and trust me you’ll feel like a strong badass,” she wrote next to one photo.
Emily’s not the only Bravoleb who is getting creative with at-home exercise. The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss recently held a full family workout in her driveway while Don’t Be Tardy’s Kim Zolciak-Biermann also spilled the fitness secrets that are keeping her sane during this trying time
