Why Andy Cohen Says "People Will Be Surprised" By the RHOC Season 18 Reunion
Andy Cohen teased what went down during the RHOC Season 18 reunion taping: "It was a lot."
Andy Cohen continues to tease what exactly went down at The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 reunion.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host gathered with cast members Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and Katie Ginella and friend of the ladies Alexis Bellino to shoot the reunion on October 6.
Then, on the October 8 broadcast of his Sirius XM series, Radio Andy, the dad of two revealed why the reunion was a bit unconventional.
"On Sunday, we did our, I don't know when we've ever shot a reunion on Sunday. It just so happened that that was the day that we could all do it, I guess. We did shoot the OC reunion on Sunday. It was a very — we did what we had to do," Andy explained. "I think people will be surprised. I think people will be surprised by what I liked."
Andy went to describe the day as ultimately being "very calm."
"We worked through a lot of things, but it wasn't people ripping each other's faces off and I think when you see the last few episodes of Orange County, which get especially heated, I do think we needed to —"
Andy's co-host John Hill interjected and said, "That's how it should be. The show should end crazy and then resolve at the end."
"Yes," Andy agreed. "That's kind of what we did."
The day was chill, for the most part, but Andy noted that there was tension when Alexis joined the ladies.
He, more specifically, said that she "was there for part of it," and it was "not calm."
"That was not calm," he continued. "That was very, it was a lot."

On the day that the reunion filmed, Bravo also released the seating chart on Instagram. Andy sat in the center of the ladies, of course, and he had Shannon directly to his right. Gina, Jennifer, and Katie followed on Andy's right side.
Tamra sat directly next to Andy on his left side. Emily sat next to Tamra, and Heather followed. Alexis sat on the end for her portion of the reunion.
