In April, Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter confirmed that her family had relocated from Illinois to Oklahoma. “This actually was our 12th move in 12 years of marriage,” Briana told BravoTV.com in July. “Most of those [moves] obviously were with the Marines. After [my husband] Ryan [Culberson] retired from the Marines, we were just searching for our forever home and where we felt comfortable raising our kids.”

Naturally, the couple had a very specific wish list for their future dream home. “We just want a little bit of land, and we want just a really simple lifestyle,” Briana said. “We want really good schools, really good sports, surrounding ourselves with good people that are just solid, and kids riding their bikes in the neighborhood. Stuff like that.”

Although Briana and Ryan knew exactly what they wanted, it took them “a little bit” to find it. Briana explained, “We tried out where Ryan’s from, North Carolina, and didn’t love some things about it. So we went to Illinois, where I’m from, and didn’t love some things about it. So we were like, ‘Let’s just go back to Oklahoma,’ where we were stationed years ago. It’s where our second son was born.”

After finding a “really great small town,” Briana, Ryan, and their four kids, Troy, Owen, Hank, and Cora, packed up and moved into a new home that checked all of their boxes. “We have lambs, and we have 20 chickens, and we have two farm dogs, and we’ve got a bunch of acreage,” Briana shared. “Our kids work outside with the animals every day, and they’re riding bikes with the kids in the neighborhood. We walk our kids to school. So we just have a very simple, quiet, peaceful life. This should be our absolute forever home. We found a home that we just love, and we have a pool, and it’s just very safe, very peaceful.”

For everyone in the family, the spacious new property means plenty of outdoor activities. “It’s a lot of taking care of the animals, and it takes all day to mow the grass,” Briana said. “Our kids clean the pool. We’re teaching them a lot of chores and responsibility, but trying to keep things fun. They’re in a great town where it’s just boys running everywhere. Football is like a religion here. We’re super, super excited. The sports are great [and] all the families are so nice.”

After just a few months in the home, Briana gushed, “We feel very settled [and] very, very happy.”
