Shane Simpson Explains Why He Isn't Wearing a Wedding Ring
People have been asking about Emily Simpson's husband's missing ring, and now we have an answer.
Emily Simpson and her husband Shane Simpson have been getting very candid lately about all the popular misconceptions about their marriage, one style-related question at a time. First, The Real Housewives of Orange County duo took to Instagram stories to reveal exactly how much taller Emily is than Shane. (She's two inches taller by the way.) And recently, Shane hit up Emily's stories once again to explain why he doesn't wear a wedding ring — and things got kind of confusing.
In a recent set of Instagram story videos, Emily sat down with Shane to address follower questions, only Emily was just as curious about the answer. In the vid, Emily turns to Shane and asks on behalf of her fans, "Where is your wedding ring?" which instantly makes him laugh.
"I don't even know if...I don't think I have a wedding ring," he explains through giggles with a genuinely confused look on his face.
"I bought you a wedding ring," Emily confirms off camera.
"Was it like a mood ring or something?" Shane joked. Because, that's a thing people do, we guess. "No it was not a mood ring. I bought you a ring," Emily responds. But this makes total sense when you think about it considering that Emily, in fact, never got an engagement ring when Shane proposed (via G-chat, no less) over ten years ago. No wonder why Emily asked for a bauble for Christmas last year!
And there you have it. Or maybe they never had it? Or they had it and lost it? Either way, it doesn't look like Shane or Emily is that concerned with getting more jewelry.
