The RHONY Women Model Sexy Lingerie Looks — But One Nightie Isn’t Well-Received
Erin Lichy said one RHONY cast member had a terrible reaction to a thoughtful gift.
Things are getting steamy on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14, though one Housewife was less than thrilled with a gift she received from one of the ladies.
Erin Lichy had the Housewives over at her Hamptons home for a three-night sleepover, serving her best bubbly, caviar, and Pringles (yes, Pringles). For the intimate affair, fashion staple Jenna Lyons gifted the women with some beautiful lingerie pieces by luxury brand Fleur du Mal.
Granted, it’s hard to lingerie shop for others, but the women were all pleased with their new satin nightwear, except for one ‘Wife who referred to her gift as “hideous.”
Why Jessel Taank Was Upset with Jenna’s Lingerie Gift
Jessel Taank said she loved Fleur du Mal when discussing her sex life (or lack thereof) with Erin, Jenna, and Sai de Silva. However, holding up the green satin slip with black lace, she was less-than-thrilled when comparing her piece to Sai’s “naughty” black lace bodysuit and Erin’s two-piece get-up.

She told the others she had “the most covered-up situation.”
“It’s this green thing,” Jessel told producers. “If you look through my Instagram, I feel like I give off sexy, fun vibes. Grinch vibes? I don’t know about that.”
The women had hoped some new lingerie could help Jessel’s sex life after she previously went into detail about not getting “down and dirty” with her husband, Pavit, since giving birth to their toddler twins. The fashion publicist had admitted she and Pavit were both “exhausted” and that she was “really self-conscious” because of her cesarean (C-section) scar.
After a quiet night out at Erin’s favorite Hamptons restaurant for oysters and martinis, the women, including Ubah Hassan, returned to Erin’s house to model their lingerie. Sai was “giving rich mom” with her ensemble, while Ubah wore her “grandma outfit,” a less-revealing, champagne-colored slip.
Ubah joked, “I feel so f-ck-ng offended,” saying she was jealous that Erin had a two-piece. But she told Jenna she actually loved the piece, giving a little booty-shaking dance in the kitchen.
Jessel, on the other hand, hadn’t come around to liking her lingerie, saying she couldn’t believe her gift came the size it did, saying she wore a smaller size.

“Anyone who thinks this is sexy is, like, crazy,” Jessel said as she entered the room. “I feel like a Christmas tree. I’m a f-ck-ng Christmas tree.”
Jessel still stunned in her lingerie, with even Erin and Jenna saying she looked “gorgeous” and Sai saying she looked “so pretty.” Still, Jessel was unhappy with the fit.
“I absolutely hate it,” she told Jenna.
Jessel explained it wasn’t her vibe “at all” and that she didn’t care for the color or the fabric.
“This is, like, hideous,” she continued. “I would never wear this, by the way.”
Was Jenna Lyons Offended by Jessel's Comments?
Those around Jessel felt she was being a little harsh, especially since the attire was a gift.
“It doesn’t seem to me that she has any connection that what she’s saying might be really kind of rude and offensive,” Jenna later said. “I don’t get it. I’m completely dumbfounded, honestly.”
It was all the more surprising to Jenna since Jessel works in P.R. for fashion.
“She’s going on and on and on about how ugly this garment is; it’s not that bad,” said Erin, to which many viewers would agree.
Sai said she could tell by Jenna’s face that Jenna was “horrified” by Jessel’s reaction, but noted that Jenna didn’t have “enough balls” and that if Sai were in Jenna’s shoes, she would have said, “Bitches, gimme back my sh-t.”
Fans will have to wait for the next episode to see what goes down then the women confront Jessel about her comments, as shown in the Episode 3 preview.
