See Every Gorgeous Detail of Eboni K. Williams' Harlem Night Dinner
The RHONY cast member designed a stunning and meaningful tablescape for "A Harlem Night with Eboni K. Williams."
After a trip the Hamptons consisting of Leah McSweeney's Burning Man-themed party, Ramona Singer's Breakfast at Tiffany's dinner, and a vineyard outing planned by Luann de Lesseps, Eboni K. Williams was thrilled to host her own special evening for The Real Housewives of New York City cast members in Harlem.
"I'm coming off of a massive dose of these women's world, right? Like spending that weekend in the Hamptons at Ramona's house, literally on her turf," Eboni explained on the show's June 29 episode. "Now it's time for them to come to my world, and there is no better place for them to get into the epicenter of Black culture and Black excellence than Harlem." Later, she added, "I think this is a magical part of New York."
For "A Harlem Night with Eboni K. Williams," the RHONY newcomer hosted a dinner at B² Harlem, explaining it is "one of the few actual, real speakeasies still left in Harlem."
To start, the group took a short mixology class before heading to a stunning table for dinner. As they waited for their first course, Eboni presented each of the ladies with a meaningful gift. "I'm obviously very deeply indebted and in love with Harlem culture, but I'm, you know, going to give grace to the fact that these women might not be as familiar," she said in an interview. "So I [gave] every woman a particular, individual candle from Harlem Candle Company... It's based off of how they show up in this culture and in this world, and I hope they can appreciate it."
In addition to candles, the table was topped with gorgeous flowers, luxe dinnerware, and cards featuring images of Josephine Baker, James Baldwin, W. E. B. Du Bois, Billie Holiday, Zora Neale Hurston, Duke Ellington, Nella Larsen, and others. "Each of you have been assigned a particular icon from the Harlem Renaissance," Eboni explained. "As you might imagine, it's been with intention."
After the fun-filled evening, the women were beyond impressed. "This table is perfection," Ramona said. "I appreciated everything you did here...you outdid yourself." Leah later added on Instagram, "[Eboni] went above and beyond with a meticulously curated evening."
