The Vanderpump Rules couple are really getting into the festive spirit this holiday season and Glinda is serving as inspiration.
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are getting ready for the holiday season — with a little twist. The Vanderpump Rules couple is known for putting their personal flare on their careers, their relationship, and their adorable bungalow in Burbank. So, it should not come as a surprise that they have done the same to their Christmas decorations this year.
Ally took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Dec. 1, where she revealed that she was getting ready to decorate their home. Ally posted a photo of a bunch of tiny red velvet bows, sitting on the desk in her office, with miniature pink and red bottle brush trees sitting on a shelf in the background. "Let's decorate," Ally wrote over the photo.
She then showed off her progress decorating her pink tree (which has a very Wicked feel to it) — but her black cat, Bodhi, had other plans for it. "Reasoning with Bodhi to leave the tree & bows alone," she wrote over the photo.
Although he wanted to interrupt the decorating, and their other cat, Mr. Banks, was "already plotting" to destroy the tree, Ally was able to successfully put it up. She then took to her Instagram feed where she showed off her completed decorations.
In the Instagram Reel, posted to her account on Sunday, Ally showed off the bubblegum pink tree, decorated with little red velvet bows and pink nutcracker ornaments, sitting on the floor in her office. "My Glinda-inspired tree," she wrote in the caption of the post, alongside a tree, bow, and sparkle emoji.

This pink tree is just a bit of a stray from James and Ally's Christmas decorations from last year. Ally took to her Instagram feed in Nov. 2023, where she showed off all of her gorgeous Christmas decor — from the warm lights wrapped around their palm trees outside of their home, to their Christmas tree inside.
The couple opted for some more traditional decor, decorating their tree with white lights, different ornaments, and a star on top, while they put garland in front of their TV and added some decorative pillows to their couch. Ally let the video speak for itself, choosing to leave three Christmas tree emojis in the caption of the post.
James Kennedy's tribute to Vanderpump Rules
Ally's sprucing of their Burbank house comes after the news that Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo in 2025 with a brand new cast. James took to Instagram on Nov. 27, where he posted his tribute to the show and his reaction to the news.
"I can't lie, I'm holding back tears as I write this," James wrote. "It's been a pleasure being a part of Vanderpump Rules and filling your TV screens with our lives over the past decade. I've dedicated my life to this show and I'm forever grateful to everyone who tuned in. All of my dreams are finally coming true; this year I played Neon Carnival, EDC, and Stagecoach and I have a Vegas residency — and I have you all to thank. It's been a wild ride and I'm excited to see what the future holds. Although this is a bittersweet ending, for me, this is just the beginning! THANK YOU."
