Jill Zarin and BF Gary Brody Are Living Together in a $10K-a-Month NYC Penthouse
The Real Housewives of New York City alum is settling into her new abode with her new love.
Red alert: Jill Zarin is no longer living in the Upper East Side! Since selling the apartment she shared with her late husband, Bobby Zarin, for $3.25 million earlier this summer, Jill moved just a few blocks south to the New York City neighborhood Sutton Place. “I am downsizing and completely changing my surrounding,” Jill said of her move. But fear not, that doesn’t mean she’s no longer living large. According to Page Six, Jill is living with her boyfriend Gary Brody in a stunning penthouse rental, which costs a reported $9,995 a month and used to belong to famed artist Georgia O’Keefe.
Despite her newfound happiness with Brody, moving on from her former home of nearly 20 years was an emotional experience for The Real Housewives of New York City alum. "This was a great home for us," she said in an Instagram Stories video, adding in a post, "I am sad and cried this weekend but as Bobby told me many times… life is like a book and when one chapter ends a new one begins. As painful as it’s been to lose someone I loved so deeply and completely, Bobby told me before he left me that it’s OK to fall in love again and he wants me to happy more than anyone. There will only be one Bobby Zarin. I promise never to forget you and I know you are my guardian angel."
While she was sad to leave, Jill is decidedly loving her new home, where she’s been hard at work decorating her wraparound patio. “Loving our new terrace!” she said recently, posting photos of the space’s transformation (and of herself partaking in some alfresco yoga).
Earlier this week Jill hosted a birthday party for her friend, CNN business and politics correspondent Cristina Alesci at her new digs, where she got to show off her new space to all her friends. Sounds like the ultimate summer soiree!
