The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Margaret Josephs is rebounding nicely after an odd incident at the ice cream parlor: "No one be concerned."
Margaret Josephs had a jarring incident at the ice cream shop — and it was all because she forgot her glasses. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mogul shared the funny incident on Instagram Stories, as she panned over colorful tubs of ice cream that were chilling behind the counter. But first, let us fill you in on what a sapota (or chiku) is:
The fruit, which grows in places like southern Mexico and Central America, is a large berry that has a pale yellow or sandy brown color, and it's said to have an exceptionally sweet taste. In terms of ice-cream flavors, it's not exactly your average pistachio or mint chocolate chip... and that's why "The Marge" was a bit surprised to see the "Sapoto (Chiku)" selection in the cooler.
"I'm very excited getting my ice cream scoop after a little business lunch with my bad eyes — disclaimer," she said, showing the unusual flavor. "This is actually not chicken, as I thought it was, without my glasses. It's actually a fruit, but I had a little bit of a freakout, not gonna lie."
She added: "I thought it was chicken, but it kind of has a chicken look, or like a chicken liver. But, it's not. So, no one be concerned. The Marge did not order chicken." Oh, well. Maybe next time.
