Jennifer Aydin Smolders in a Red-Hot Asymmetrical Wedding Guest Dress
The Real Housewives of New Jersey beauty wore a fiery frock for a friend’s nuptials.
When it comes to rocking an incredibly stylish dress, Jennifer Aydin knows how to slay.
We recently caught up with The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member when she attended New York City’s Gotham Ball on May 10 with fellow RHONJ ladies Danielle Cabral, Dolores Catania, and Jennifer Fessler. For the fundraiser at the Plaza Hotel, Jennifer opted for a sexy, sleek style, wearing a Michael Costello x Revolve Maxi Dress in taupe ($188, shown here in black). She paired the curve-hugging look with Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels and carried the Fendi First Small bag ($3,290) in black leather and python.
Jennifer returned to retailer Revolve for a fiery red wedding guest dress and took to her Instagram Stories on May 22 to share the outfit details. In the photos, the brunette beauty posed in a crimson-colored gown by Cinq a Sept ($693) that featured spaghetti straps, a structured bodice, a bow accent on the hip with ruffle detailing, and an asymmetrical hem that showed plenty of leg. Jennifer accessorized the red-hot style with sparkly red strappy heels by Rene Caovilla, a silver sequined handbag by Cult Gaia ($428), and sterling silver and Swarovski crystal Tracy earrings by John Michaels Jewels ($445).
Jennifer went on to share more behind-the-scenes details of the fabulous occasion. In one Instagram Story, the mom of five snapped an adorable selfie with her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, who attended the affair in a dapper black suit with a white button-down shirt and black tie.
Jennifer’s bright and bold dress made us think of another recent occasion where the New Jersey mom made our jaws drop: the Season 13 RHONJ reunion.
For the sit-down with her castmates, Jennifer tapped the Estrada Twins (the East Coast duo who also designed her Season 12 gold sequined number) for an elegant long-sleeved blue gown. The gorgeous sheath featured bejeweled embellishments and a sheer side train flowing from her right shoulder. Jennifer stayed true to dripping-in-designer form with a pair of Chanel logo earrings.
After a turbulent Season 13 reunion, Jennifer was definitely in need of some recovery time.
Earlier in May, the New York native had some additional R&R when it came to a “small” cosmetic procedure performed by her plastic surgeon husband, Bill, ahead of Mother’s Day.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Jennifer divulged the details of the surgery and her recuperation process.
“Just checkin’ in. I had surgery yesterday. Nothing bad, just a small procedure, ’cause I guess I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I had some loose skin on my love handles,” she explained. “Bill, from Aydin Plastic Surgery, he cut off my loose skin that was [on] my love handles. This was all day yesterday, guys, so I wasn’t around.”
