Jennifer Aydin Had a Bit of a Problem at Home: "I Was Scared Out of My Wits"
The RHONJ cast member says she and husband Bill Aydin were "panicking" after a recent issue at their New Jersey mansion.
Jennifer Aydin has shown her followers much of her sprawling New Jersey manse. We've seen her double-island kitchen, her resort-style pool, and even the home theater, sauna, and spa in her basement (see the clip above). But until a recent mishap had Jennifer getting up close and personal with her geothermal unit, we'd never seen her utility room.
In an Instagram Story, Jennifer ventured into the subterranean room, which had a puddle of water on its floor. "So this happened: One of my pipes burst," she shared. "And, it's a geothermal unit. That stupid white [pipe] right there that you see, that thing burst, and starting filling this [room] all up with water, and we're cleaning it up. But now the water supply is shut off to the whole house 'cause of the sensor. We're going to try to dry the sensor."
Any help was welcome, by the way: "I need an on-call plumber," the mother of five mused. "Someone that's local in Paramus. Paramus has gotta have a plumber." (Perhaps the plumber's hanging out with the lawn pro Jennifer's also searching for.)
While showing off more pipes, Jennifer announced: "This is my utility room, folks." And to be clear: "This is not bragging. This is a burden," The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member said grimly. Peek inside while you can — hopefully, Jennifer won't be back in he burdensome room anytime soon:
Later, after the water supply had been restored, Jennifer reflected back on the incident as she prepped tabouli in her mother's kitchen. "I know you guys saw my basement utility room; it was almost flooded," she said. "The water came dispersing out; Bill called me in a fret... and it was awful. I was scared out of my wits, we were panicking. But luckily, Bill was able to shut off the valve and save the house from flooding."
