Jennifer Aydin Just Transformed Her House for Halloween: “So Cute”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member declared her Halloween setup this year is “very elegantly done.”
There are three things we know for sure about Jennifer Aydin’s house: It has 16 bathrooms, the backyard offers views of New York City, and it will be decked out for Halloween each year.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member started her Halloween transformation early this year, taking to Instagram on September 12 to show the perfectly eerie new decor in her home that was done by Christmas Designers of NJ. “This is the inside,” she said in an Instagram Story video as she shared a look at her foyer. “Very elegantly done.”
The grand staircase is adorned with purple and orange string lights, there are faux torches at the bottom of each side of the stairs, and the entry table is topped with seasonal florals. “Do you like our Halloween decorations, bud?” Jennifer asked one of her kids off-camera. “So cute, right babe?”
As Jennifer showed in subsequent Instagram Story photos, the room is awash in purple lighting at night, as is the exterior of the house.
Last year, Jennifer’s Halloween setup also included a large fuzzy spider on her staircase and an inflatable dragon in front of the house. The Halloween enthusiast often hosts a bash for her kids, complete with fun decorations and over-the-top food spreads.
Bravolebs decorate for fall
Jennifer isn’t the only Bravoleb getting ahead on her fall decorating.
On September 3, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Candiace Dillard Bassett defended her choice to start adding fall decor to her home. “So, there’s been a lot of discourse around my post about beginning my fall decor journey because it is almost fall in about two weeks,” Candiace said, noting that she had decorated her home the day before. “I started it a day late, OK? [Typically on] September 1, I’m off to the races. I started on September 2nd, so everybody needs to calm down.”
Although she had a moment of self-doubt when she went to light a fall candle, she quickly let that thought go. “I said, ‘Self, since when do you conform to these rules and ideas and norms that society has deemed appropriate?’” she shared. “I literally said, ‘I could burn this right now and then decide tomorrow that I want to burn a summer candle,’ and that would be what? All right.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof was also ready to leave summer behind on August 1. “Alright, let’s get to planning already. I can’t wait any longer,” she wrote in an Instagram caption, showing her Halloween setups from years past. “What should this year’s theme be?!” She added a hashtag spelling out “Halloween 2023.”
