Dolores Catania's Boyfriend and Ex-Husband Are Living Together... without Her
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member revealed that Frank Catania and David Principe's new roommate routine includes deeply personal late-night talks.
During part one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, Dolores Catania revealed that she didn't feel quite ready to move in to boyfriend David Principe's new home. Her ex-husband, Frank Catania, however, seems to feel a bit differently.
On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen's Wednesday, March 11 episode Dolores explained that following Frank breaking both of his legs last month after a fall, her ex-husband-turned-business-partner has moved into David's home.
"They live together," Dolores told a flabbergasted Andy Cohen during the show. "I don't live there. He's in David's house."
Dolores also noted that David is taking his role as caretaker very seriously. "David wakes up in the middle of the night to give him his medicine," she said. " David gave him a shower!"
Though the trio have a notably close relationship, it seems David and Frank are taking their friendship to new levels. "I got a call from David saying him and Frank had a nice midnight talk about life and [David said], 'Frank said his weaknesses and strengths and I told Frank about mine,'" Dolores recalled. "I'm like, 'Never once did I have this conversation with you, David."
Dolores has been open about the fact that she won't feel comfortable moving into the home that she and Frank built for David until she has a commitment from David in the form of an engagement. Still, that hasn't stopped her from getting settled in the house for whenever that day may come. In December 2019, Dolores showed off the opulent closet she built in the abode. Adorned with multiple chandeliers, the space features sleek white shelving and clothing racks on top of gray carpeting.
While it may seem puzzling to build such an extravagant closet in a home she doesn't yet live in, Dolores had a great reason to move her clothing to her boyfriend's home. "I have dogs. They ruin everything in my house — and they’re allowed to. That’s their life, I’ve given it to them," she revealed to PEOPLE at the time. "I want a nice place to get dressed where I keep my nice things, so I’ll just use David’s house for this!’"
