Dolores Catania Shares a Peek at the New Pool She's Building in Her Backyard
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has "waited 50 years" for this big upgrade to her New Jersey home's outdoor space.
From her "special closet" at David Principe's house to the in-progress renovations at her own abode, Dolores Catania is an expert at designing exactly what she wants when it comes to luxurious home features. However, until recently, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member still had one major amenity on her wish list, and it's finally in progress.
"I've waited 50 years for a pool," Dolores said in an Instagram Story video. "My whole life I wanted my own pool."
"I'm so excited. This is the first time I'm seeing it. I have not been home," she added while showing New Wave Pools hard at work. "It's gonna be amazing."
Until the construction is complete, Dolores has temporarily moved into a fancy townhouse. "It's so beautiful here," she shared in an April Instagram Story, before adding in a separate post, "While my home is under construction I’ll be residing at [The Alexa] in Montvale, NJ!"
On an April episode of RHONJ, Dolores gave an update on the homes she works on with her ex-husband, Frank Catania. “Frank and I are still in the house flipping business,” she said in an interview during the episode. “Luckily, we have not been affected by [the COVID-19 pandemic], because people are fleeing the city and buying the houses.”
During the same episode, Frank reassured Dolores that her own renovation would eventually be completed to her satisfaction. “You’ll have a new kitchen, you’ll have a new bathroom. We’ll get there,” he said. “I will take care of everything. Please, don’t ride me. I will get it done.”
