Kathy Wakile's New, Lighter Hair Color Is an Ode to an Older Hairstyle
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum pulled inspiration from her past to lighten up her brunette locks.

Just ask Kathy Wakile: The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum took notice when her hairstylist Julius Michael flashed it back to that time he turned Kathy into a "honey blonde" with "shiny AF" hair. "This was a fun look," she wrote in the comments last month to his Instagram post. "I think it’s time for another change!! Let’s see what you come up with next!!"
She really meant it about going back to blonde, because the New Jersey brunette just lightened things up in a big way — in time for a vacay to Mexico. "After my #tbt post we decided to start the process of going lighter," Michael explained in this photo showing off a new cut and color for Kathy. "I applied her base color and added balayage [and] highlights and let everything process."
This sun-kissed hair looks so natural on Kathy, and wow, it really brings out her eyes. You know she loves this blonder look, because she was all heart emojis in response to Michael's hair reveal.
