Be honest: You're waiting until after the 4th of July to quit drinking and start juicing — and give up strawberry shortcake — right? Well, according to Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, who knows a thing or two about diets, you may as well start your healthy regime on the holiday. We know, we know, that sounds like kind of a bummer. But there's some pretty sound logic behind Teddi's advice.
In a recent Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills coach shared a tidbit about the moment she started her clean lifestyle, which she's since branded as All in by Teddi. "I started going #allin over Thanksgiving," she wrote. "There is always another holiday and another excuse on why we can't start fighting for ourselves."
Translation: You can always find an excuse not to start your diet. So why not start today? Or on Thanksgiving? Or while watching fireworks? That logic has certainly paid off for Teddi:
And once you do start that diet, Teddi has plenty of tips for how to fuel up your days. In the past, she's shared that she's all for starting every day with a glass of water, followed by some oatmeal and blueberries. In her book, soup for dinner is always a good idea. And for lunch, she tends to nosh on salads with arugula, lentils, and avocado.
And by the way, if Teddi does imbibe, she tries to limit her alcoholic intake to two drinks and have plenty of water afterward. Unless, of course, Provence gets in the way...
