See Teddi's Baby Dove Take Her Very First Swim in the Family Pool

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's daughter Dove is making a splash. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom took her nearly 4-month-old baby for her first swim, and the experience was an overall success.

In an Instagram Story video posted by Edwin Arroyave on June 15, Teddi held Dove as she moved around the family's pool. As the little one began to briefly cry, 5-year-old Cruz quipped: "I don't think Dovey likes her hair to get wet."

As Dove got more comfortable in the pool, Teddi gently dipped her youngest child beneath the water. "Dove just got dunked and she is not crying," Edwin said in the video. "That's pretty impressive, Dove. You didn't cry."

The moment proved to be a bit smoother than it was in the past with Cruz, the couple's daughter, Slate, and Edwin's daughter from a previous relationship, Isabella. "You know all of you have cried," Edwin told the three kids as they swam around the pool. "Dove has been the only one who has not cried on the dunk."

In her own post, Teddi shared a photo of her and the kids smiling with an accompanying caption noting it was Dove's first swim.

When the little one gets a bit older, she'll be able to join her siblings on the inflatable slide leading directly into the pool from their wood deck. Teddi showed off the new addition to their outdoor area in an April Instagram Story, as Cruz, Isabella, and Slate played on and around the slide. 

Going for a dip is just one of Dove's recent major milestones. In early June, Teddi shared that she and Edwin had changed up the baby's sleeping situation. "It's official," Teddi wrote at the time. "We are out of the [Snoo] and in our big girl crib."
