Kyle Richards Shares a Major Update on Her Mom’s Stolen Ring
The RHOBH cast member responded to yet another twist in the case of her mom's stolen ring.
Kyle Richards is sharing the latest news on her mom’s stolen ring, which was reportedly among the $1 million worth of personal items taken from her home during a burglary in 2017.
During the Season 10 "Secrets Revealed" episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle opened up about a potential lead on the ring’s whereabouts, stating that she saw what she believed to be her mom’s gold ring in an Instagram photo shared by Diane Keaton. The snapshot, posted in July 2019, featured a close-up view of the hands of a Santa Monica psychic, who donned long black nails and several pieces of jewelry.
Despite Kyle’s best efforts to track down the woman in the photo (including hiring a private investigator and recruiting BFF Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave for help), the ring was never located. Now, Kyle is sharing yet another update after a woman on TikTok claimed that the photo posted on Keaton’s Instagram was actually of her grandmother, and that her grandmother had owned the ring in question for decades.
"I wanted to give you a little update on my mom’s ring…Apparently, somebody came out and said that they knew whose hand that was and that person has had the ring for many years,” Kyle said in a video shared on her Instagram Stories on September 25. “So my hope is then to be able to reach out to that person and ask where they bought the ring, so that I can maybe be on the trail to find more of my mom’s things at a pawn shop or something.”
While she’s still hoping to find the ring, Kyle says she’s going to allow the situation to play out rather than continue the search herself. “Apparently, the universe is telling me to just let go and move on, which is what I’m going to do,” she said. “So I’m going to let go and let God.”
