Dorit Kemsley Had the Most Over-the-Top Housewarming Party at Her New $6.5M Home
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member hosted a lavish fete at her modern abode.
After moving into her $6.5M modern Encino home last year, Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley celebrated with the most lavish housewarming party.
"It's a great feeling that PK and I are able to throw this housewarming," Dorit said on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills August 26 episode. "I know how to make a really warm home and the kids are able to enjoy every single space in this house, which I love. It just feels like a really happy home."
For the fete, also celebrating PK's L’Astuce non alcoholic champagne, Dorit completely transformed her outdoor areas. With candles placed along the side of the stairs leading up to the house, string lights adorning nearly every inch of greenery around the front and back yards, and heat lamps placed all around the property to keep guests warm, the space looked absolutely dreamy.
Because the party was in December, Dorit also made the occasion festive with a Nutcracker soldier statue and a sleigh filled with faux presents, which caught the eye of Kyle Richards' husband, Mauricio Umansky. "Should I put the gifts here?" Mauricio asked as they entered the home, to which Kyle responded: "No, honey, those are props." With a laugh, Mauricio retorted, "How do you know?" The inside of the home was also decked out for Christmas with a fully-decorated towering tree in front of their central staircase.
In honor of PK's new business venture, a massive L’Astuce Champagne bottle was placed in the pool surrounded by faux ice cubes. While the beverage was passed throughout the night, for those interested in alcoholic drinks, a full-length black-and-white bar was also set up behind the pool.
Dorit's friends were blown away by the stunning setup, which also included seating areas featuring gray velvet chairs and sofas, pink throw pillows, and glass coffee tables.
"This is gorgeous," Lisa Rinna declared to PK. "Love it." Kyle also took a moment to rave over the décor, telling Dorit, "Your house looks unbelievable."
