Dorit Kemsley's Daughter Phoenix Had the Most Magical 5th Birthday
From the festive cake to the decor, see every enchanting homemade detail at the RHOBH mom's Encino home.
When it comes to entertaining, Dorit Kemsley isn't known for a low-key approach. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has hosted some epic bashes in her day, including the glitzy L'Astuce launch and the 40th birthday party that gave us "Dorit's Buddha lounge." (Relive it in the clip above.) But in a recent Instagram Story, the bridal designer revealed a soft spot for simpler celebrations.
Filming her daughter Phoenix's 5th birthday party at home, Dorit wrote on February 24: "I love a homemade party just as much as an elaborate one. For me, it's all about the love that's put into it." And at Phoenix's sweet celebration, there was plenty of love — and unicorn magic.
The grand staircase at Dorit's farmhouse-style abode had been decked with pink balloons. In the living room, candy-colored streamers hung on the wall, along with a game of pin the horn on the unicorn. And along the sliding glass doors, more rose-gold balloons spelled out "happy 5[th] birthday."
Naturally, the party also included a cake. While Phoenix's brother Jagger had an orange Naruto cake for his recent birthday, Phoenix had a white confection dripping with rainbow sprinkles. And as she made her birthday wish, the newly-minted 5-year-old wore a pink-and-gold party hat.
Phoenix isn't the only Real Housewives mini-me who's had an adorable unicorn party. Wendy Osefo's daughter Kamrynn Kapri had one last July, and Eva Marcille's daughter Marley celebrated all things unicorn in January.
