Dorit Kemsley Shows Off Her New Piercings: "I'm Reliving My Preteens"

Dorit Kemsley never shies away from piling on the accessories. But thanks to two new piercings, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fashionista might start wearing more earrings than ever before. 

In a June 6 Instagram video, the fashion designer shared a peek into an outing she'd taken with a few of her girlfriends. "This is us before we got our ears pierced," the gang said in unison, to kick off the clip. And — as you may have guessed — the "after" shot captured all of the ladies with fresh new piercings. At the end of the video, Dorit's earlobe was decked with four studs, including a teeny gold lightning bolt. 

In her caption, the mother of two opened up about her history with piercings. "I got my ears pierced in a mall when I was 10 years old, with my mother and my little sister. When I was 12 years old (on an overnight school trip) I pierced my ear and a few of my girlfriends ears with a single needle, an ice cube, a lighter (to sterilize the needle), and small packets of alcohol wipes (that I got from the nurse)," Dorit wrote. 

"My teacher found out and my parents were called and needless to say that was the end of that piercing. Now, over 30 years later (assuming the second hole had closed) I decided to get a couple more ear piercings with a few girlfriends and much to my surprise, the hole I pierced decades before was indeed still open. This is the first time I’ve worn an earring in that hole even though I’ve had it for over 30 years! I got 2 more piercings and it almost feels like I’m reliving my preteens all over again. Only this time with a real professional doing the piercing."
