Lately, the Real Housewives are loving the look of elaborate body chains peeking out from under their jackets.
Blazers and body jewelry are having a moment — just ask the Real Housewives! From California to Utah, Bravolebs are suiting up in sophisticated blazers that reveal elaborate body jewelry designs. What’s more, at least four ’Wives have chosen this trend for their interview looks — almost as if it’s dazzling armor for a long day of tea spilling.
In Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gina Kirschenheiter may have given us her best interview looks yet, and a big part of that included an ensemble featuring a crisp white Anne Fontaine jacket and a $1,350 gold-and-crystal collar by the same designer. Gina finished the look with a matching white manicure, her lob haircut styled sleek and straight, and a rosy pink lip.
Just about 50 miles north, two cast members from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills styled their blazers with bling for Season 12. Garcelle Beauvais coupled a shiny red coat with a gorgeous crystal design that almost resembled a spine and rib cage. She styled her hair with a side part and flipped ends, and added a dark manicure and sparkling rings for emphasis. “Comfortable in my skin,” she wrote on Instagram of the look.
Meanwhile, Erika Jayne put an artsy twist on the trend in a colorful blazer with a paint splatter design. Strands of crystals across her chest and a sky-high braided pony gave the look its finishing touches.
One of Heather Gay’s confessional getups for Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City included rows of pearls worn beneath an elegant white blazer with gold buttons. Her look included a dreamy hairstyle with loose waves, sparkling stud earrings, and a nude pink lip.
